Th e 2007 Nina’s Cuvée Petite Sirah, Reserve is a classic, with black cherry, spice, white pepper notes and a rich, long finish. Because of its fi rm acid structure, the blackberry flavors of this wine can be enjoyed now or for many years to come.
Nina’s Cuvée Petite Sirah honors our founder’s daughter-in-law, Giovanina Ferrario Concannon, who came from Italy to visit California in 1919, met Joseph Concannon and decided to stay. Nina was an integral part of the winery, an excellent hostess and adored wife and mother. The grapes for her wine come from block 12 on the Concannon estate, planted almost 40 years ago and with wonderful old vine character - low yield, small berries, dense flavors and unique maturity profiles, making for an intensely flavored wine.
